This video work documents an action carried out at a heliport in the outskirts of the Belgian city of Genk. I spend a long month working there, sharing an apartment with three other artists and preparing an exhibition to be inaugurated a couple of days before we were supposed to go back home. This was my first experience in this type of event and it completely determined the absurd and ephemeral nature, and the sense of the work I produced.
Although it is one of the first and most intuitive works I made, now I think it is a good portrait of what an artist residency abroad is like.
